Mastermind (VIRTUAL EVENT) – “The Most Common Money Mistakes Small Businesses Make”

May 27, 2020 @ 8:00 am - 9:30 am

Due to ongoing efforts to encourage ‘social distancing’ in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, this meeting will be conducted virtually.

We all know that, in any small business, every decision has lasting impact.  Due to limited budgets, some of the most critical decisions entail how we manage our finances.  Are we effectively controlling costs, monitoring our spending, and building profits?

In this Mastermind workshop, John Drawdy of Paragon Accounting and Tax Solutions will share with us the most common financial mistakes they have found small businesses tend to make.  Paragon’s years of experience working with multiple small business leaders in a variety of industries give them the unique expertise and insight to help us avoid the most common pitfalls.

John Drawdy is an auditing, accounting and tax professional with over 25 years of relevant experience. His expertise includes small business advising, internal control analysis concepts, tax planning, and tax preparation.  John holds a Bachelor’s Degree and an MBA from the University of South Carolina, is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and a Certified Tax Coach (CTC). John has taught both undergraduate and graduate-level accounting classes and (by special invitation) has written and edited questions for the CPA Exam.

Mastermind is a quarterly learning event aimed at providing information and idea sharing for business leaders.  Each Mastermind session is facilitated by a subject matter expert and focuses on a specific topic to help your business.
